As a business owner, you may want to track the Order Status. This is where our simple Fulfillment Order Status criteria can be useful.

How to use the criteria

To create a workflow using this criteria, click on the Create New Workflow button from the main Workflows view:


Then click Get Started: 

 

Define the trigger to determine at which point you would like the workflow to run, we recommend selecting the trigger when orders are created. 


Click the Add criteria to my workflow button: 


The Fulfillment Order Status criteria can be found within the Fulfillment category in the Select criteria pop-up:

Click the Add Criteria button on the bottom left.  


Select the conditions you would like to track. 

Choose the name of the tag you'd like to see on all orders that match this workflow and enter it into the Add tags when the workflow matches section.

In this example, we have used the tag “Order Open“: 


Saving and naming your workflow

It is mandatory to name your workflow to save or edit it. Otherwise, you won't be able to save the changes or even test them. Then, check the summary of your workflow, and if happy, either Test your Workflow against an existing order or hit Save Workflow:


Is this workflow compatible with Backdating?

Yes, this workflow is available to backdate using our backdating service.


Take your tagging one step further:

If you want to track the  Order Status automatically of an order, you can do this by using our Remove Tag feature. For example, you will want to follow when an order is Open, when it moves to the In Progress stage and then Closed. 


Let’s say I have created a workflow to track orders In Progress. Once the order status is In process it would tag “Order In Progress“ but I would need to delete the previous tags so that I will not get confused.
Thus I will go to Removing tags when the workflow matches and add “Order Open” tag to be deleted when the In Progress tag is tagged. 

To track this, you will need a create the following workflows for all the Fulfilment Order Statuses (7 workflows total) using the Fulfillment Order Status Criteria. 

  • Open (No Tags to be removed here since this is the initial tag when an order is created)

  • On Hold (Remove the tags you created for Fulfillment Order Status Workflows: Open, Incomplete, In Progress, Scheduled)

  • Closed (Remove the tags you created for Fulfillment Order Status Workflows: Open, On Hold, Cancelled, Incomplete, In Progress, Scheduled)

  • Cancelled (Remove the tags you created for Fulfillment Order Status Workflows: Open, On Hold, Closed, Incomplete, In Progress, Scheduled)

  • Incomplete (Remove the tags you created for Fulfillment Order Status Workflows: Open, On Hold, In Progress, Scheduled)

  • In Progress (Remove the tags you created for Fulfillment Order Status Workflows: Open, On Hold, Incomplete, Scheduled)

  • Scheduled (Remove the tags you created for Fulfillment Order Status Workflows: Open, On Hold, Incomplete, In Progress)
